What are you telling me?
Frankly I am puzzled. I started this blog just under a year ago with intentions of posting common mistakes that are made while designing that affect the outcome of a project in the press and post press manipulation. I have been very busy to date and have yet to write the first blog post…but I keep getting people to sign up for the blog without any promotion for it whatsoever. Please tell me why! Is this a subject that you are interested in? or is there something that I am missing altogether? I am more than happy to write about the problems and pitfalls of pre-press work. I do a LOT of pre-press work and I have stood hours in front of the flat blade cursing the danged designers myself.
So basically I can create a bridge of understanding between the two to help make a smooth transition in all of your projects from start to finish. Please just tell me why is it that you are signing up for this blog that has no posts…until now? What are some of the questions that you may have or problems that you as (I suppose) designers face? Anything that would be helpful to you will help me know what is the best way I can write posts that are useful.

Welcome to Publishing Pitfalls. This is post was the first one that we used to set up the blog then kind of let it set idle by for almost a year. But here we go….
Publishing Pitfalls is a combination effort of brothers Don-Alan (SAbER Mountain Publishing) and Dan Rekow (PRintegrity Digital Print) to help the pre-press industry understand what is needed and common mistakes that are made in the design department, and to provide a smoother, cost-effective transition through the press and post-press departments.
